Easter Madness

It's Easter and Will had a wonderful time. He colored eggs and went on several Easter egg hunts. The first Easter egg hunt Will participated in was the neighborhood Easter Egg hunt. The weather was cold, wet and snowy, but it didn't seem to affect his ability to snatch up eggs. The turnout was surprisingly good considering the weather, but there were only two other kids in Will's age bracket. So needless to say, there was very little competition in the hunt. He came away with a basket of eggs and a few toys, which kept him preoccupied for a while. Here's a picture of the little guy roaming around in search of the lost egg.

Here he is in action at the Timber Springs Easter egg hunt. All kids were supposed to stop at 10 eggs, but Will just kept on going. Watch as he tries to take more than his share!

The next day was Easter Sunday and Will awoke to many more eggs and a basket of goodies. Although you can't tell by the picture below, Will was ecstatic. After cleaning up the aftermath from another Easter egg hunt, Malissa and Megan took Will to Grammy's where he received even more goodies. Then, to close the day out, we took him to Grandma and Papa's where (you guessed it) he received even more goodies. All in all, he received enough toys to last him until his birthday.

Snow Day!

Aunt Meg and Uncle Andrew came over to play in the snow with Will! He's now learned to say, "cheese" when we take his picture, hence the big cheesy smile in this picture.

Fun at the Children's Museum

For Christmas, we received a membership to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. There is so much to do and see. The first time we went, Will was terrified of the horses on the carosel. This is a picture from our second visit. He wanted to ride a big horse next to Daddy! He is getting so big and taking so much. He repeats everything.

"Chick or Treat"

This was our first Halloween in our new neighborhood and we had swarms of trick or treaters. Will did pretty well trick or treating but we only made it to about 4 houses! He's never had candy before so he thought the M&M's were rocks to play with. Apparently some family members would like for Will to wear something a little more boyish next year. We thought the chicken costume was pretty funny.

Pumpkin Patch

Well, we are finally feeling a little more settled in our new home. We managed to take a break from all our projects to take a trip to the pumpkin patch. It was Will's first trip to pick pumpkins. He had a great time!

Will's finally walking!

Will has finally mastered walking! He is still a little unsteady and walks like his uncles after a long night of partying! He is saying words like car, bubble, dog and Mama. He is also starting to make animals sounds. We have had a fun and eventful summer! He loves swimming, playing in his sand box and going on walks. I'll be back at school next week so Will will be going back to the sitters.

Will is all boy, that's for sure! He likes to play outside most of the day, preferably in the dirt. While outside, he likes to play with the mulch, dig in the flower pots and throw rocks from the driveway into the yard (all of which drive daddy crazy). I think he needs a sandbox to control the madness.
